Timothee Chalamet delighted viewers in his second hosting effort on sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live.<\/p>\n

The actor, known for acclaimed films including Call Me By Your Name and Dune, opened the show with a monologue that hailed the return of \u201cshameless self-promotion\u201d.<\/p>\n

The appearance comes mere days after the Screen Actors Guild reached a tentative agreement<\/a> with Hollywood studios, effectively ending the strike that had prevented stars from working or gaining publicity for pre-existing projects.<\/p>\n

Chalamet has a packed few months on the horizon with Roald Dahl reimagining Wonka<\/a> hitting cinemas in time for Christmas, while sequel Dune: Part Two<\/a> will follow in March of next year.<\/p>

Both films got a tongue-in-cheek mention in the monologue, including a musical element set to the melody of Willy Wonka\u2019s \u2018Pure Imagination\u2019 \u2013 which soon evolved into an outrageous rap poking fun at Chalamet\u2019s \u201cbaby face\u201d.<\/p>\n

Watch below:<\/p>\n\n<p>Another moment that provoked a big reaction from the live studio audience saw Chalamet impersonate Troye Sivan in a sketch that depicted the Australian pop star as a sleep paralysis demon.<\/p>\n<p>Sivan has been making waves this summer with lively songs and steamy music videos, prompting SNL co-star Bowen Yang to joke he\u2019s \u201csneaking his way into the mainstream\u201d after years of being \u201cgay famous\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>That skit is also available on the show\u2019s official YouTube channel.
