New Sky documentary David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived<\/a> tells the story of Holmes, Daniel Radcliffe\u2019s Harry Potter<\/a> stunt double who was left paralysed while filming the hit movie franchise.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the documentary\u2019s release<\/a>, Holmes spoke with this week\u2019s Radio Times magazine<\/strong>, and discussed his close bond with Radcliffe \u2013 who he calls his \u201cbrother\u201d.<\/p>\n

Holmes said that when they were working on the films, he and Radcliffe would \u201cmess around together\u201d and that they would \u201cjump off Portakabins, we would jump on trampolines and do all things that would make the insurance company have a fit\u201d.<\/p>\n

He explained that their bond hasn\u2019t changed over the years, adding: \u201cWhether that was us going on holidays together in our teenage years or when I go out and spend time with him in New York, it\u2019s that sense of, \u2018I\u2019m just your mate.\u2019<\/p>\n
