The TV host has admitted she is dreading the insects she’ll encounter in the jungle. <\/p>

This Morning host Josie Gibson is heading into the I\u2019m a Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out of Here!<\/a> jungle, and although she has admitted she is terrified about taking part, she\u2019s ready to take the plunge.<\/p>\n

Josie Gibson is no stranger to reality TV, with her career kicking off following her appearance on Big Brother<\/a>, which she subsequently won.<\/p>\n

But when it comes to I\u2019m a Celebrity, the jungle is a different ball game to the Big Brother house<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gibson will be camping and eating rice and beans alongside an array of famous faces<\/a>, including TV personality Sam Thompson<\/a> and actress Jamie Lynn Spears<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Josie Gibson rose to fame after winning the 11th season of Big Brother in 2010.<\/p>\n

The following year, Gibson became a regular guest host on OK! TV on Channel 5 and continued working in TV.<\/p>\n

Her other TV projects include being a reporter on Big Brother\u2019s Bit On The Side from August to November 2011, Celebrity Wedding Planner, Loose Women and The Wright Stuff.<\/p>\n

In 2019, Gibson joined This Morning<\/a> as a competition announcer and two years later she became a presenter on the show. Following Phillip Schofield\u2019s departure from the programme, Gibson began presenting alongside Holly Willoughby<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What has Josie Gibson said about joining I\u2019m a Celebrity 2023?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

With I\u2019m a Celebrity approaching, the idea of it is just sinking in for Gibson.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the show\u2019s launch, she said: \u201cI keep thinking, \u2018S**t, I am actually going this.\u2019 I know I have taken on challenges for This Morning in the past but I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ve taken on too much here. It\u2019s all becoming very real.\u201d<\/p>\n

The TV host admitted she is \u201cdreading the insects\u201d as it is her \u201cbiggest phobia\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI also don\u2019t like spiders and I freeze normally when I see one,\u201d she said, continuing: \u201cMy family thinks I am mad doing the programme too as they know what I\u2019m like with creepy crawlies!\u201d<\/p>\n

While it may seem bizarre why she chose to take part on the show given her many fears, Gibson said she loves the show so much and that\u2019s why she decided to accept the offer to take part.<\/p>\n
