It\u2019s somehow that time of year again \u2013 The Game Awards 2023 is almost here.<\/p>\n
So, to mark the occasion, we have the TGA 2023 date, time, nominees and how to watch it.<\/p>\n
With so many great games in 2023, competition is tough, but perhaps not as tough as what\u2019s facing the thousands of game developers who have been subjected to lay-offs this year \u2013 the extent of which can be seen on GameIndustry.biz<\/a>.<\/p>\n It\u2019s all the more important, then, to recognise the achievements of these developers \u2013 and fortunately, not many of the games nominated are from companies that have tightened the purse strings.<\/p>\n Expect to see big-hitters such as Insomniac\u2019s Spider-Man 2<\/a> and Nintendo\u2019s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom<\/a>, but also top games from the markedly smaller Larian Studios in Baldur\u2019s Gate 3<\/a> and Remedy in Alan Wake 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n There are plenty of other categories too, though, such as best audio design, best adaptation and best multiplayer game, to name but a few.
