The biggest night in fundraising is back as Children in Need returns for another year.<\/p>\n

The annual fundraising event will be back on BBC One on Friday 17th November<\/strong>, with a dazzling line-up of celebrity presenters dedicated to raising funds for children and young people, and it\u2019s all just days away!<\/p>\n

With three hours of comedy, music and surprise guests, viewers can expect a \u201cjam-packed evening of sketches and performances featuring well-known faces as you\u2019ve never seen them before\u201d.<\/p>\n

Jason Manford<\/a>, Ade Adepitan<\/a>, Alex Scott<\/a>, Chris Ramsey<\/a>, Lenny Rush and Mel Giedroyc<\/a> will be presenting this year\u2019s show, with guest appearances from David Tennant in a special Doctor Who Scene and Gregg Wallace causing mayhem in the MasterChef kitchen.<\/p>\n

Other exciting moments in the show will include Race Across Yorkshire, celebrities taking on The Graham Norton Show<\/a>\u2018s infamous Red Chair and the UK\u2019s Junior Eurovision<\/a> entry STAND UNIQU3 singing their entry song.<\/p>\n

As the excitement brews for Children in Need 2023, here\u2019s everything you need to know about the fundraising event.<\/p>

When is Children in Need 2023?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Children in Need 2023 will take place on Friday 17th November at 7pm on BBC One<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The annual fundraising show will be three hours long and will likely finish at 10pm, filled with hilarious sketches and celebrity performances.<\/p>\n

Who is hosting Children in Need 2023?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Hosting this year\u2019s Children in Need show are Paralympian Ade Adepitan, comedian Mel Giedroyc and comedian Jason Manford.<\/p>\n

They will be joined by stand-up comic Chris Ramsey, actor Lenny Rush and presenter Alex Scott.<\/p>\n

Lenny Rush is the latest edition to the Children in Need presenter line-up<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 14-year-old was announced as a presenter last month and said of the news: \u201cIt\u2019s an honour and a thrill to be the first child presenter for Children in Need.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t wait to feel the\u202fbuzz of a live show and to help raise money for children and young people across the UK facing\u202fdisadvantages. I\u2019m so excited and look forward to all of you joining me on Friday the 17th of\u202fNovember!\u201d<\/p>\n

Which celebrities are taking part?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Doctor Who\u2019s David Tennant will star in a special one-off scene<\/a> as the Fourteenth Doctor.<\/p>\n

The scene will tie into the upcoming 60the anniversary specials, and it was recently announced David Tennant\u2019s Doctor would be sharing an encounter with a \u201cmysterious\u201d new character, who is being played by Mawaan Rizwan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Viewers will be able to watch behind the scenes footage of the making of a scene in Doctor Who: Unleashed, which will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer.<\/p>\n

Singer-songwriter JERUB will take to the Children in Need stage to perform his new single There Till The End.<\/p>\n

The UK\u2019s Junior Eurovision act STAND UNIQU3 will be performing their entry Back to Life, and Leigh-Anne will be performing her singly My Love for the first time on TV.<\/p>\n

The cast of I Should Be So Lucky will perform a medley of songs, including Especially For You.<\/p>\n

In celebration of Disney\u2019s 100th anniversary, Merryl Ansah will be singing a song from the upcoming film Wish<\/a>, and the BBC Children in Need Choir will return to sing You Raise Me Up.<\/p>\n

Children in Need TV specials\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Every year fans of various TV shows are given a little something extra, all in aid of Children in Need.<\/p>\n

As well as the exclusive Doctor Who scene, there will be a MasterChef sketch and a Race Across the World sketch.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s mayhem in the MasterChef kitchen as Gregg Wallace and John Torode are joined by Britain\u2019s most loved puppets, who are all hoping to be crowned MasterChef Puppet Champion.<\/p>\n
