Ella made history as the show’s first transgender bride. <\/p>
After two months of marriages, break-ups, some removals from the show and a recoupling, Married at First Sight<\/a> UK will come to an end for 2023 with a final commitment ceremony.<\/p>\n And it\u2019s looking to be a pretty emotional episode for the Married at First Sight 2023 cast<\/a>.<\/p>\n In an exclusive clip revealed to RadioTimes.com<\/a>, Ella becomes very tearful as she reflects on her time on the show and partnership with JJ, who she reentered the experiment with following her marriage to Nathanial.<\/p>\n After rewatching their vow renewal, during which Ella told JJ that she \u201cwanted it to be you, but it isn\u2019t right now\u201d, Ella becomes very emotional on the sofa as she wipes away tears while leaning into JJ.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Asked by Mel Schilling what\u2019s making her feel this way, Ella says while fighting back tears: \u201cHe\u2019s the first guy to have accepted me and that means so much!<\/p>\n \u201cNo one else understands that because I face my whole life just being judged, just looked at as just this trans girl and not ever seen for me, and JJ is the first guy in my life that\u2019s ever just accepted me.<\/p>\n \u201cHe didn\u2019t give a s***, he didn\u2019t care about the label, and I think that\u2019s why I find it hard watching that back.\u201d<\/p> It comes after Ella \u201cpraised\u201d Married at First Sight, while saying that show\u2019s like Love Island \u201cwould never\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n She also opened up about her dating history, saying: \u201cI\u2019ve had a lot of guys interested, but as soon as they find out about me or it gets to a serious stage, they kind of cut it off because they\u2019re like, \u2018I\u2019m a bit embarrassed by you. I don\u2019t want to tell my family and friends.\u2019 And I don\u2019t want to be someone\u2019s dirty secret!<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like people aren\u2019t educated these days. I feel like they need the education. I don\u2019t want to harp on about it, I\u2019d rather watch the show and see that I\u2019m just as normal and relatable as these girls, and hopefully people will feel they can talk openly or date trans girls, whether pre-op or post-op.<\/p>\n Married at First Sight UK ends on E4 on Thursday 16th November.
