Do you want to build more snowmen? <\/p>
Disney CEO Bob Iger has announced that Frozen 4 is \u201cin the works\u201d at the studio, while promoting the opening of a new theme park in Hong Kong inspired by the film series.<\/p>\n
The first Frozen movie was something of a surprise hit when it launched in 2013, grossing $1.2 billion and spawning a number of hit songs, including Let It Go and Do You Want to Build a Snowman?.<\/p>\n
A sequel followed six years later and topped the original from a financial perspective, reaching $1.4 billion at the worldwide box office and receiving generally positive reviews from critics.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s no surprise then that a third entry was announced at the start of the year, which Disney clearly has high hopes for as work is now under way on a fourth film too \u2013 as Iger let slip today on Good Morning America.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrozen 3 is in the works and there might be a Frozen 4 in the works, too. But I don\u2019t have much to say about those films right now,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut Jenn Lee, who created Frozen \u2013 the original Frozen and Frozen 2 \u2013 is hard at work with her team at Disney Animation on not one but actually two stories.\u201d<\/p>\n
