Shona was originally married to Brad, but the couple were removed from the show<\/a> as the experts felt that the environment was no longer serving them, while Matt was one of the intruder couples and got married to Adrienne.<\/p>\n Matt and Adrienne<\/a> made it all the way to the vow renewal and decided to stay together, but by the time it got to the reunion, it was all over.<\/p>\n Speaking to OK! Magazine<\/a>, Shona revealed that the relationship is \u201creally healthy, happy, safe, [and] fun\u201d.<\/p>\n She said: \u201cI really appreciate Matt so much, it\u2019s what I deserve, we deserve each other. I\u2019m proud to be his girlfriend and it just works.\u201d<\/p>\n Shona says the pair had to keep their romance secret \u201cfor months\u201d and had to be \u201cso careful\u201d while Matt was still on TV.<\/p>\n Shona explained: \u201cMatt would be driving and I would be in the back, we would be walking around Nottingham and I\u2019d be all the way over there, we were like secret agents on a mission.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe had to do it, we had to be so careful,\u201d Matt added.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n The pair joined the show at different stages, so didn\u2019t actually meet until the reunion, where they said there was an \u201cinstant vibe\u201d.<\/p>\n They didn\u2019t officially meet up until five weeks after, following weeks of messages. The pair enjoyed their first date and Shona brought along her pooch for Winston.
