The air time for Doctor Who<\/a>\u2018s final 60th anniversary special has been announced.<\/p>\n The Giggle \u2013 a trilogy capper that will round off David Tennant and Catherine Tate\u2019s return to the series \u2013 will air at 6:30pm on Saturday 9th December<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The episode, from showrunner Russell T Davies, will span 65 minutes and mark the return of the villainous Toymaker, now played by Neil Patrick Harris.<\/p>\n The character was last seen on Doctor Who in 1966, making his one-and-only appearance (so far!) in four-part serial The Celestial Toymaker<\/a>.<\/p> During an appearance on the 20th November edition of The One Show, Tennant \u2013 now playing the Fourteenth Doctor \u2013 described The Giggle as \u201cbananas\u201d, with Davies adding that fans can expect \u201ca rollercoaster\u201d.<\/p>\n “The third one is bananas!” \ud83d\ude02
