Ditching Santa for tanks. <\/p>

World of Tanks has teamed up with \u2018Crazy Gang\u2019 football legend-turned-actor Vinnie Jones for its Holiday Ops 2024 event. Not only will he turn up in the game but Wargaming has released an explosive five-minute-long trailer featuring Jones to celebrate.<\/p>\n

For those unaware, World of Tanks is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online (MMO) game that first launched back in 2010 and has since been ported to just about every platform. In it, you control \u2013 you guessed it \u2013 a tank and fight with and against others online.<\/p>\n

Each year, Wargaming (the developer and publisher of the game) invites a special celebrity guest to join in the fun as part of its Christmas event. For the World of Tanks Franchise Holiday Ops 2024 event, that special guest is everyone\u2019s favourite football hard man Vinnie Jones.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the collaboration, Wargaming has released a hilarious five-minute trailer starring Jones as Santa\u2019s reluctant enforcer who has to deal with one last naughty list alongside his crew before he can quit for good to become a commander in World of Tanks.<\/p>\n

Check out the World of Tanks Vinnie Jones Holiday Ops trailer (complete with Cockney Santa) below:<\/p>\n\n<p>We wouldn\u2019t want to be on the naughty list with Vinnie the enforcer in charge.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the partnership in a press release, Vinnie Jones said: \u201cYou heard that correct, I\u2019m hanging up my candy canes for good to join the awesome World of Tanks players for Holiday Ops 2024. My days of \u2018correcting\u2019 people on the naughty list are over. I am a World of Tanks commander now, and it is going to be \u2018Jingle-Bells\u2019 all the way!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vinnie Jones will appear in-game across World of Tanks, World of Tanks Modern Armor, and World of Tanks Blitz.<\/p>\n<p>In the games, he\u2019ll assign you challenges and quests from within the tanker garage. Complete those challenges and quests and you\u2019ll be able to earn \u201ccelebrity-inspired tank skins, emblems, inscriptions, decals, medals, unique decorations, avatars, and more\u201d.<\/p> <p>What\u2019s more, World of Tanks and World of Tanks Modern Armor players can even recruit Vinnie to join their tank crews \u2013 with his iconic voice supporting you in battles. Just the holiday cheer your tank crew needs to get through.<\/p>\n<p>Last year\u2019s Holiday Ops event featured Arnold Schwarzenegger and Milla Jovovich while the 2022 edition starred just Arnie. Before that, we\u2019ve been treated to Chuck Norris.
