In a crossover no one saw coming, Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> head judge Shirley Ballas and the show\u2019s professional dancers will be guest-starring in Doctor Who<\/a>!<\/p>\n The news was confirmed during BBC Morning Live, in which Russell T Davies<\/a> revealed that Shirley Ballas has a guest role in the upcoming series.<\/p>\n During the segment, Gethin Jones teased that there is someone else in the studio who could \u201cpotentially\u201d be on Doctor Who<\/a>.<\/p>\n Davies then joked: \u201cDo you mean the top secret information that Shirley Ballas is going to appear?\u201d<\/p> As the camera then panned to Ballas, she confirmed the exciting news.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, I can tell you the filming was one of the best days of my life,\u201d she revealed.<\/p>\n Ballas continued: \u201cWe\u2019re doing a guest appearance with Jojo (Johannes Radebe), where I actually get to perform with Jojo and so many other dancers on the show. I\u2019m very excited for people to watch.\u201d<\/p>\n Teasing what viewers could expect, Davies explained he was on set the day they were filming as there was \u201cno way\u201d he was going to miss it.<\/p>\n \u201cDame Shirley Ballas on Doctor Who, it was great,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n The first episode of the 60th anniversary Doctor Who special, The Star Beast<\/a>, airs on Saturday 25th November at 6:30pm, which will then be followed by another two episodes, titled Wild Blue Yonder and The Giggle, over the coming weeks.<\/p>\n While it isn\u2019t confirmed what episode the Strictly Come Dancing stars will appear in, it\u2019ll be a treat for all when they do.<\/p> \n
