The Strictly Come Dancing final will take place in a few weeks, but the former Strictly pro thinks he’s spotted the winning couple. <\/p>
We\u2019re just weeks away from the Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> 2023 final, but former Strictly pro Vincent Simone thinks he\u2019s already spotted this year\u2019s winner.<\/p>\n Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a>, the Argentine Tango specialist, who left the show back in 2012, revealed who he thinks will lift the Giltterball this year, and it\u2019s none other than Coronation Street star Ellie Leach<\/a> and her professional dance partner Vito Coppola<\/a>.<\/p>\n He explained: \u201cI love Vito! Since he joined Strictly, I think he is the best professional male dancer without a shadow of a doubt. I really enjoy watching him from a professional point of view, and he\u2019s an amazing teacher with what he managed to achieve will Ellie \u2013 amazing! All I can say is, amazing and I think she should win. They should win!<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI mean, that girl. I don\u2019t know if she\u2019s done a bit of dancing before, but to do those choreographies and to have all that control and the balance and technique and everything is really hard. Fair play to her. Really, really hard.<\/p>\n \u201cYou get people like Nigel [Harman] and Layton [Williams] where they\u2019ve had more of an experience with the dancing being on stage and everything. But for me, Ellie is my favourite.\u201d<\/p> While Ellie is Vincent\u2019s top choice, he thinks former EastEnders star Nigel Harman<\/a> could also be in with a good chance of winning, adding: \u201cIf not her, then I will say Nigel. I like Nigel!\u201d<\/p>\n Ellie is proving to be quite the star on this year\u2019s Strictly and is currently in joint first place on the leaderboard<\/a> with Layton Williams<\/a>, after impressing with a Charleston to Love Machine by Girls Aloud during Blackpool Week, for which she received an almost perfect score of 39.<\/p>\n\n
