It will begin following the airing of The Star Beast. <\/p>

The Whoniverse is expanding yet again, with on screen commentary coming to BBC iPlayer for selected episodes of Doctor Who<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Featuring special guests from across the Whoniverse, the episodes will give viewers an exclusive insight into the creation and filming of some of the brand new adventures the Doctor embarks on in upcoming episodes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The commentary will be available on the BBC\u2019s Whoniverse<\/a> directly after the selected episodes air on BBC One and iPlayer.<\/p>\n

This will be kicked off after the first 60th anniversary special episode, The Star Beast. It will feature none other than David Tennant and producers Phil Collinson and Vicki Delow.<\/p>

Tennant and Collinson will return and will be joined by showrunner Russell T Davies<\/a> to commentate on the third special episode, The Giggle.<\/p>\n

Speaking of the commentary, Davies said: \u201cFor years, Doctor Who has been providing top-level in-vision commentaries for selected episodes, on DVD.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut we\u2019re now bringing this to the iPlayer \u2013 as soon as you\u2019ve watched The Star Beast, you can see exactly what David Tennant thinks of it, scene by scene!<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Doctor Who has the greatest behind the scenes coverage of any show in the world, and we\u2019re determined to keep expanding it!\u201d<\/p>\n

Doctor Who returns on Saturday 25th November on BBC One and iPlayer with The Star Beast, which will be followed by Wild Blue Yonder and The Giggle in the coming weeks.<\/p>
