It\u2019s a huge week for Doctor Who<\/a> \u2013 and the overnight ratings for the first 60th anniversary special, The Star Beast<\/a>, have proven it.<\/p>\n The first special,<\/a> which saw David Tennant<\/a> and Catherine Tate return to the sci-fi after 15 years, has become the biggest drama launch of 2023 with an overnight audience of 5.08 million.<\/p>\n It\u2019s the biggest Doctor Who overnight figure since the 2019 New Year Special \u2013 Resolution.<\/p>\n The figure is yet to take into account the amount of people who viewed on catch-up, which will be available after seven days.<\/p>\n Doctor Who: The Star Beast had an overnight audience of 5.08 million TV viewers on BBC One last night.
