Everything you need to know about the matchmakers and experts pairing up hopeful singles on series 5 of Married at First Sight. <\/p>
A brand new series of Married at First Sight UK<\/a> is currently airing on E4.<\/p>\n The show has been given a little bit of makeover for 2021, adopting some themes from the super popular Australian version, such as commitment ceremonies and dinners.<\/p>\n Also new to the UK series is sex therapist Charlene Douglas<\/a>, and psychiatrist Mel Schilling, who moves over from the Australian series.<\/p>\n They join matchmaker Paul C Brunson, who made his debut on the show last year alongside Genevieve Gresset and Dr Angela Smith.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, Gresset and Smith won\u2019t be on the new series.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s everything you need to know about the Married at First Sight UK 2021 experts.<\/p>\n A post shared by Paul Carrick Brunson (@paulcbrunson)<\/a><\/p><\/div><\/blockquote> Instagram: @paulcbrunson<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Paul C Brunson is best known as one of the dating coaches on E4\u2019s reality series Celebs Go Dating, which he joined in 2018.<\/p>\n The expert, who calls himself \u201cthe world\u2019s most influential matchmaker\u201d, runs his own matchmaking company, PCB Agency, has written a book about dating and co-hosted a matchmaking show with Oprah Winfrey called Lovetown. He has been married to his wife Jill since 2000 and the couple have two children together.<\/p>\n Speaking to The Mirror<\/a> about his involvement on the show, he said: \u201cI don\u2019t think you can be a great matchmaker unless you\u2019re confident that you can put together great matches, and we can. She joined the show for the new series which started on Monday, 30th August.<\/p>\n She previously appeared as a sex therapist on E4\u2019s The Sex Clinic, and has \u201cdeveloped a practice that allows couples to connect more deeply, communicate better, build trust and enjoy love and sex.\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking about her new role, Charlene said: \u201cI am delighted to be joining this new series of Married at First Sight UK. This is a brand-new role for the show and it is important to remember that these couples have just met and are going to be getting to know each other quickly. I\u2019m really looking forward to getting to know them all and digging deeper into their relationships and finding new ways for them to connect on a more intimate level.
