HBO has released the first trailer for House of the Dragon season 2<\/a> \u2013 and war is looming in Westeros.<\/span><\/p>\n

Set to drop in 2024, the Games of Thrones prequel<\/a> will continue to follow the Targaryen dynasty and their struggles for power in Westeros after the shocking events of the season 1 finale, which saw <\/span>the death of Rhaenyra Targaryen\u2019s<\/a> (Emma D\u2019Arcy) son Lucerys.<\/p>\n

And now the teaser trailer, which was unveiled during a special panel at Brazil\u2019s CCXP (on Saturday 2nd December), has given fans a first glimpse at Rhaenyra\u2019s revenge as she and Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) embark on a war on dragon back.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no war so hateful to the gods as a war between kin,\u201d warns Princess Rhaenys Targaryen (Eve Best) in the footage.<\/span><\/p>\n
