The iconic actor returned to film Doctor Who before his death in 2022. <\/p>
Doctor Who\u2019s<\/a> second 60th anniversary special Wild Blue Yonder<\/a> has been dedicated to the late Bernard Cribbins<\/a> after he made his return as beloved character Wilf.<\/p>\n It\u2019s the first time in 15 years that Cribbins has returned to Doctor Who, and it was his final role before he died<\/a> in July 2022 at the age of 93.<\/p>\n The second special showed the Doctor and Donna returning to Earth after quite the adventure \u2013 albeit a day or two out.<\/p>\n As they opened the TARDIS<\/a> doors, they stumbled across Donna\u2019s grandfather, Wilf, with the world in chaos, presumably heralding the arrival of Neil Patrick Harris\u2019s Toymaker in the next special.<\/p>\n “Hello, me old soldier!”
