Doctor Who\u2019s<\/a> second 60th anniversary special, <\/span>Wild Blue Yonder<\/span><\/a>, has finally landed, pitting David Tennant\u2019s Fourteenth Doctor and Catherine Tate\u2019s Donna Noble against evil versions of themselves at the edge of the universe.<\/span><\/p>\n Unlike the first 60th anniversary special, The Star Beast,<\/a> Wild Blue Yonder was shrouded in mystery ahead of its transmission, with little known about the plot points or the full cast list<\/a>.<\/p>\n Speaking about the decision to keep Wild Blue Yonder so secret ahead of its transmission, Russell T Davies<\/span><\/a> explained <\/span>on the <\/span>Official Doctor Who Podcast:<\/span><\/a> \u201cWe kept this very secret.\u00a0<\/span>I think that might have had an unfortunate effect. I think everyone\u2019s expecting Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi and the ghost of William Hartnell.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n He continued: \u201cActually I kept this secret for a very simple reason, because I think it\u2019s nice to keep some episodes secret, but also because this is the simplest one of the lot.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIf you describe this episode, they arrive on the spaceship and they meet evil versions of themselves, that\u2019s it. <\/span>Do they win? Yes they do, of course they do.\u201d<\/span><\/p> He added: \u201cI mean with The Star Beast, the Meep turns out to be evil<\/a> and actually that\u2019s about Donna.
