Netflix\u2019s new reality series, Squid Game: The Challenge<\/a>, has gripped viewers ever since its announcement \u2013 and it has continued to garner mass attention with its episodes.<\/p>\n

Much like the original show<\/a>, 456 players took part in various children\u2019s games, and if they failed, they were eliminated from the competition.<\/p>\n

As the players drop out of the game one by one, only one player can emerge victorious and win a huge $4.56 million.<\/p>\n

According to Deadline<\/a>, the season premiere of Squid Game: The Challenge was \u201cthe most streamed show in the UK across major video-on-demand platforms, excluding Amazon Prime Video<\/a> and Apple TV+<\/a>\u201c, proving its popularity among viewers.<\/p>\n

Will there be a Squid Game: The Challenge season 2?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
While there is currently no word from Netflix on whether there will be a second season of Squid Game: The Challenge, the producers of the series have said they \u201cwould love\u201d to do another season.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s all in the hands of our dear friends at Netflix, if they have the desire, whether they want to do it again,\u201d executive producer Stephen Lambert told Entertainment Weekly<\/a>.<\/p>\n
He continued: \u201cIf viewers love the show, and from what we understand, the people do, Netflix will publish numbers for the first week, so it will be interesting to see what those numbers are like. If they\u2019re good, then who knows, maybe they\u2019ll want to do another season.\u201d<\/p>
Executive producer John Hay echoed Lambert\u2019s thoughts and said: \u201cIt\u2019s brilliant it\u2019s landed as well as it has, and we\u2019re really enjoying all the responses to it.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt probably is too early to judge, but we would obviously love to [do season 2]. We think it\u2019s a game with potential, so let\u2019s see.\u201d<\/p>\n
