BBC thriller series The Tourist<\/a> is returning in the new year for a second season which transports Jamie Dornan\u2019s Elliot and Danielle Macdonald\u2019s Helen from Australia to Ireland.<\/p>\n

Speaking with RadioTimes.com<\/a> and other press, alongside Macdonald and new cast member Conor MacNeill, Dornan explained why he chose to come back for another season \u2013 and it seems that location change was a key factor.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy thinking was, \u2018Where are we going? Like, if we\u2019re doing this, where are we going?’\u201d Dornan explained. \u201cBecause it was a bit of an upheaval to go to Australia, and the<\/span> idea of going again so soon after\u2026 I mean, the<\/span>se guys don\u2019t have kids, I have three kids.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I took the<\/span>m all with me, the<\/span>y went to school the<\/span>re, it was a big thing family-wise to do that. And the<\/span> idea of doing that again so soon wasn\u2019t hugely appealing.\u201d<\/p>\n
