From the creators of White Gold and The Inbetweeners comes a new comedy, Daddy Issues, with Aimee Lou Wood<\/a> (Sex Education<\/a>) and David Morrissey<\/a> (The Walking Dead<\/a>) starring in the lead roles.<\/p>\n The six-part series follows Gemma (Wood), who finds herself pregnant after sleeping with someone on her way back from a holiday in Portugal, with only her father, Malcolm, left in her life.<\/p>\n Malcolm (Morrissey) is suffering from the collapse of his family, and is living in a bedsit for divorced men \u2013 but with Gemma navigating life with her newest addition, she finds herself living with her father in her flat.<\/p> Written by Danielle Ward (Brassic<\/a>), Daddy Issues is a \u201cclassic off-couple comedy about two funny, deeply flawed characters, who just happen to be father and daughter\u201d.<\/p>\n Speaking of her role, Wood said: \u201cIt had been a very long time since a script had made me laugh out loud. Danielle\u2019s did exactly that. Then when I heard David was involved, I was even more excited.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s someone I have admired throughout my life.
