Fortnite\u2019s LEGO mode is proving popular with both fans and newcomers to Epic Games\u2019s massive world.<\/p>\n

Taking influence from Minecraft<\/a>, it\u2019s a mode in which you build, craft and survive. It\u2019s free to play<\/a>, and everything\u2019s made out of LEGO<\/a>, so what\u2019s not to love?<\/p>\n

There are a few things you might want to know before getting started, though.<\/p>\n

The Knotroot Wood<\/a> is an item you\u2019ll want pretty early on. And if you want to craft the best weapons and items \u2013 and the top upgrades \u2013 you\u2019ll need to know how to acquire both Rough and Cut Amber.<\/p>\n

So, where and how do you get these Rough Amber and Cut Amber in LEGO Fortnite<\/a>? We\u2019ll walk you through it.<\/p>\n

How to get Rough Amber in LEGO Fortnite<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The rough variety of Amber is the easiest to procure, and you\u2019ll need this first before going on to craft Cut Amber yourself. So, let\u2019s take a look at where you can find it.<\/p>\n

Your map in LEGO Fortnite is huge (about 20 times bigger than the ones in battle royale mode), and it\u2019s divided into separate biomes and regions. Each biome has its own unique climate, which means specific enemies, weather and, of course, resources.<\/p>\n

So, to find Rough Amber, you\u2019ll need to head to the desert biome<\/strong>. It\u2019ll take quite a bit of scavenging, because they\u2019re quite rare, but that\u2019s where you\u2019ll find it.<\/p>\n
