This article includes discussion of rape and sexual assault that some readers may find upsetting.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Kellie Bright has confirmed that her EastEnders<\/a> alter ego Linda Carter will relapse with alcohol in upcoming scenes, as the presence of her rapist Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) continues to take its toll on The Queen Vic landlady.<\/p>\n Dean returned to Walford to be near his unwell daughter Jade Masood (Elizabeth Green), whose mother is Shabnam (Rakhee Thakrar). Dean also set up a pie and mash shop with Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).<\/p>\n He has repeatedly denied Linda\u2019s accusations that he raped her, and has even manipulated her into saying she lied<\/a>, words which Dean secretly recorded.<\/p>\n Dean has been named as one of seven potential victims<\/a>, with one Walford male set to be murdered this Christmas.<\/p>\n As Bright and her co-stars prepared for EastEnders\u2019 huge murder storyline, they were interviewed by former star of the BBC soap, presenter Joe Swash, in EastEnders: The Six \u2013 Revealed.<\/p>\n Asking Bright about Linda\u2019s current ordeal, Swash said: \u201cIs this going to be another reason for her to get off the wagon again?\u201d<\/p> \u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWell, I can reveal that, yes, she is unfortunately going to go down that road again,\u201d she replied, as her colleagues expressed sadness over this development for Linda.<\/p>\n \u201cBut actually, I think she\u2019s going to be a functioning alcoholic,\u201d Bright added.<\/p>\n Swash couldn\u2019t resist quizzing the actress further: \u201cFunctioning enough to murder someone?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis is the thing. I didn\u2019t think any of us were the murderer,\u201d she exclaimed, as Swash joked that she may be protesting a little too much.<\/p>\n Is Linda capable of murder?
