The Brassic gang are back for some festive fun! <\/p>

It\u2019s the most wonderful time of the year, and among the jam-packed Christmas TV schedules this year is one Sky comedic gem: A Very Brassic Christmas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Joe Gilgun-led comedy<\/a> is back on our screens for a hilarious festive special this year, with the gang<\/a> set to take on some Christmas-themed chaos. But that\u2019s not all, there\u2019s set to be some starry cast additions for the special episode with the likes of Imelda Staunton and Greg Davies<\/a> guest starring.<\/p>\n

After the twisty fifth season of the hit show, it looks as though more adventures await the beloved gang, led by Gilgun as Vinnie and Michelle Keegan as Erin.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a nativity unlike any we\u2019ve likely seen before, with Gilgun previously teasing that \u201cthere\u2019ll be mad stuff happening\u201d and from the looks of the sweary teaser, it certainly will be a wild ride. Well, we wouldn\u2019t have it any other way with Brassic now, would we?<\/p>\n

A Very Brassic Christmas release date<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The countdown for Christmas TV content is well and truly on but the Brassic Christmas episode will air a little earlier in the Christmas television line-up a few days before the big day itself.<\/p>\n

A Very Brassic Christmas will air on Sky Max on Thursday 21st December<\/strong> at 10pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Well, like any great Christmas episode, A Very Brassic Christmas will bring the gang together to stage a nativity and ultimately, save Christmas.<\/p>\n

According to the synopsis: \u201cThe plan is to kick back, relax and enjoy life to the max. But then comes the inevitable. A call from Dr Chris saying his aunt is in crisis and needs looking after and a robbery at Tyler\u2019s school ruining his nativity.<\/p>\n

\u201cVinnie, Erin, Tommo, Cardi, Carol, Ashely and JJ must now bring on their A Game and help save Christmas the Brassic way. Bring on a heist at a winter wonderland, a fight with a man called Dick Dolphin, babysitting Chris\u2019s Aunt and the best Nativity ever staged.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking about what fans can expect from the new Christmas episode, series creator and lead actor Gilgun said: \u201cThe gang need to help Tyler\u2019s school and save the school nativity for him and his classmates. Vinnie has to look after Edie, Dr Chris\u2019s Aunt. She\u2019s alone at Christmas \u2013 no one should be alone at Christmas \u2013 it shows that there is heart in this group.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd we\u2019ll show that Christmas isn\u2019t your Dickens fairytale. For some people, there isn\u2019t the normal family set-up \u2013 and it can be one massive pain in the arse.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Brassic gang are all returning for the festive special, with some pretty big names joining the cast for the episode. Dominic West\u2019s fellow The Crown co-star, Imelda Staunton, will be joining the cast for the episode as West\u2019s onscreen aunt Edie.<\/p>\n

Greg Davies, comedian and star of Taskmaster<\/a>, will also be joining the cast as Dick Dolphin.\u00a0Speaking of his role in the episode, Davies said: \u201cI love Brassic. I think it\u2019s the mayhem and I think it\u2019s the surreal comedy, there\u2019s a real sort of energy to it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Brassic has got a lot of heart, too. I\u2019m also acting opposite Imelda Staunton, but what I am most worried about is my northern accent.\u201d<\/p>\n
