With Christmas right around the corner, there is an array of festive television for people to tuck into as they prepare for the big day, from an extra special Doctor Who<\/a> episode to the sweary and hilarious A Very Brassic Christmas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, if you\u2019re looking for something more traditional, the King\u2019s College choir is back for its annual celebration of the Christmas story, told through music, readings and prayers.<\/p>\n

BBC Two will be airing Carols from King\u2019s over the festive period, with an invited congregation of college members and guests performing carols we all know and love.<\/p>\n

When is Carols from King\u2019s on TV?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
Carols from King\u2019s returns for another year on BBC Two <\/strong>on Sunday 24th December <\/strong>at 6:40pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
The 74-minute special will become available on BBC iPlayer shortly after its broadcast, and will air again on Christmas Day at 9am.<\/p>
Who is performing at Carols from King\u2019s?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
Led by the dean, the Reverend Dr Stephen Cherry, the service begins as a solo chorister sings the first verse of Once in Royal David\u2019s City.<\/p>\n
The choir, directed by Daniel Hyde, sings carols old and new, including Silent Night, In the Bleak Midwinter, In the Stillness and Child in a Manger.<\/p>\n
