It\u2019s certain to be a very messy Christmas for Stacey Slater (played by Lacey Turner) on EastEnders<\/a>, as she starts up another Branning affair.<\/p>\n

Fans have seen her growing closer to Jack Branning<\/a> (Scott Maslen) over the past few weeks as he\u2019s acted as an emotional support for her.<\/p>\n

But the pair of them have finally given in to temptation \u2013 right before Christmas, when a certain Walford male is due to end up dead on the Queen Vic floor.<\/p>\n

Speaking to press including RadioTimes.com<\/a> at a recent EastEnders event, Turner spoke about Stacey\u2019s growing attraction\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cHe always seems to be there when something goes wrong, you know, like with Theo\u2026 whatever it is, he just appears through the backdoor,\u201d Turner explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s always there and the thing is she needs a bit of a protecting and he happens to be that. And just happens to be married\u2026 Whoops!\u201d<\/p>\n

While she\u2019s certainly been lusting for him, does she actually have feelings for him?<\/p>\n

Turner thinks so, saying: \u201cI think she does have some sort of feelings for him\u2026 I don\u2019t think she quite knows what they are, but there\u2019s something.\u201d<\/p>\n

One problem it might cause is with Denise (Diane Parish), Jack\u2019s wife.<\/p>\n

Parish said of the plot development: \u201cI\u2019ve never had any problems with her [Stacey], and she was very supportive about the whole thing with the baby, so it\u2019s like the rug being pulled completely from under her.<\/p>

\u201cBecause of what happened with Ravi, she\u2019d been wracked with guilt over that and felt like the trust was broken so she\u2019s been working hard to get that back.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf he\u2019d said, \u2018Look, I\u2019ve picked up some girl, it was one night, I was p***ed, then she would\u2019ve been OK. But no.\u201d<\/p>\n

Will Jack and Stacey\u2019s fling end up in tragedy?<\/p>\n
