Stephen McGann teased that there will be “a lot of real drama” for the Turners in this year’s Christmas special. <\/p>

This year\u2019s Call the Midwife<\/a> Christmas special is just around the corner, and it looks like it\u2019s going to be a dramatic one for the Turners, as played by Stephen McGann and Laura Main.<\/p>\n

McGann spoke with RadioTimes.com<\/a> and other press ahead of the special, and teased: \u201cThere is plenty to involve the Turners as a family this year, and there are stories that come out throughout the series.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s just say things come back to haunt the Turners and there\u2019s a lot of real drama there.\u201d<\/p>\n

We already know that their adopted daughter May\u2019s mother will be sending a parcel to the Turners from Hong Kong. Could it be something to do with this that McGann is referring to?<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are also beautiful moments because, as you know, the Moon mission features this year,\u201d McGann continued. \u201cOne lovely moment when Apollo 11 is landing\u2026 I\u2019m watching with the kids, and Angela loves space, but the other kids are kind of non-committal.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd they\u2019re all sitting down watching it, going, \u2018Is anything going to happen?\u2019 And you\u2019ve got Edward going, \u2018Are there aliens?\u2019 He\u2019s very funny.\u201d<\/p>\n
