Former Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> pros James and Ola Jordan have been getting into the festive spirit by recreating Hugh Grant\u2019s iconic dance number from Love Actually.<\/p>\n In a hilarious video shared on Instagram<\/a>, James can be seen channelling Grant\u2019s boogie to The Pointer Sisters song Jump (For My Love), while his wife Ola plays the role of po-faced receptionist Mary.<\/p>\n \u201cA bit of Christmas fun with Ola Jordan,\u201d James captioned the post.<\/p> While many people adore the original scene, Grant wasn\u2019t a huge fan<\/a>.<\/p>\n In BBC Two documentary Hugh Grant: A Life on Screen, the actor spoke of avoiding rehearsals for that particular moment before finally filming it \u201cstone cold sober\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cThere was this dance written and I thought, \u2018That\u2019s going to be excruciating, and it has the power to be the most excruciating scene ever committed to celluloid,’\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n \u201cI certainly dreaded filming it and [director and writer] Richard [Curtis] kept saying, \u2018Don\u2019t you think we\u2019d better rehearse the dancing scene\u2019 and I\u2019d say, \u2018Uh yes, I\u2019ve just gotta learn some lines\u2026my ankle hurts today.\u2019 So it was never rehearsed.\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cHe hated the dance scene,\u201d Curtis confirmed. \u201cWe left it to the final day. But as always he\u2019d actually really rehearsed and had three or four little jokes up his sleeve and it turned out, from his dirty behaviour in discos across London, to be quite good at dancing.\u201d<\/p> \n
