The McFly star hurt his foot during rehearsals for the BBC One dance competition <\/p>

McFly\u2019s Tom Fletcher<\/a> has suffered an injury just one day into filming for Strictly Come Dancing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, 12th September, the singer \u2013 who is one of the contestants in the Strictly Come Dancing 2021 line-up<\/a> \u2013 \u00a0told his fans he\u2019d hurt his foot, as he shared a photo of a bandage on one of his toes.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne day of @bbcstrictly<\/a>\u00a0filming and my foot looks like this????. Having too much fun to feel pain! Don\u2019t miss the launch show on Saturday. Can\u2019t wait to tell you who my partner is! ????\u201d he wrote alongside the image.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, the injury is only minor, so Tom should be fit and ready to take to the dance floor for the 19th series, which kicks off on\u00a0 Saturday, 18th September.<\/p>\n

The episode will see Tom and the other contestants, including AJ Odudu<\/a>, Sara Davies<\/a> and more, matched with one of the Strictly Come Dancing professionals<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Strictly recently released an official photo of the 2021 line-up<\/a> in their sequinned numbers ahead of the new series.<\/p>\n

In the first-look image, Tom could be seen wearing an all-white suit.<\/p>\n

Speaking of his transformation, the singer said in an interview: \u201cI like embracing some quite out there looks. I\u2019ve never been spray- tanned before so I\u2019m quite looking forward to that.\u201d<\/p>

Asked how his family and friends reacted to him signing up for the BBC One dance competition, he revealed his bandmate Harry Judd \u2013 who won the show back in 2011 \u2013 gave him his \u201cblessing\u201d from the start.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy friends are my bandmates and they\u2019ve been supportive,\u201d he gushed. \u201cI got Harry\u2019s blessing to begin with. I came to watch Harry every single week apart from the two weeks I went out to Australia because Dougie was in I\u2019m A Celebrity and I was out supporting him there!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
