Following its spectacular return to the Christmas Day schedules, Doctor Who<\/a> has debuted a first-look trailer for episodes coming in 2024.<\/p>\n

Ncuti Gatwa<\/a> and Millie Gibson<\/a> will return as the Doctor and Ruby Sunday for the new season, which will air from May 2024 on BBC One.<\/p>\n

Upcoming adventures will see the duo cross paths with the Beatles in the 1960s<\/a> and will feature guest appearances from Aneurin Barnard<\/a>, Indira Varma<\/a>, Lenny Rush<\/a> and Jonathan Groff<\/a>.<\/p>\n

You can watch the new trailer below:<\/p>\n\n<p>Michelle Greenidge \u2013 who plays Ruby\u2019s adoptive mother Carla Sunday \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/sci-fi\/doctor-who-season-14-gripping-exclusive-newsupdate\/\">has hinted that<\/a> fans \u2018aren\u2019t ready\u2019 for the twists and turns to come in the next season.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI don\u2019t think the audience are going to be ready,\u201d she said. \u201cIt is incredible. The story arc, the writing\u2026 you\u2019ll be gripped. I\u2019m so ecstatic with how things have played out.\u201d<\/span><\/p> <p>Meanwhile, Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies has hinted that a sequence from the show\u2019s 2023 Christmas special <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/sci-fi\/doctor-who-season-14-ruby-backstory-newsupdate\/\">will be revisited in future episodes<\/a> \u2013 and there may be more to the scene than first meets the eye.<\/p>\n<p>Festive episode <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/sci-fi\/doctor-who-the-church-on-ruby-road-spoiler-review\">The Church on Ruby Road<\/a> took us back to when Ruby was an infant, abandoned on the steps of a church by a mysterious hooded figure.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ui-provider ed bkg bkh bki bkj bkk bkl bkm bkn bko bkp bkq bkr bks bkt bku bkv bkw bkx bky bkz bla blb blc bld ble blf blg blh bli blj blk bll blm bln\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThat story then continues into the series \u2013 we come back to that church,\u201d Davies has revealed. \u201cThere\u2019s all sorts of things\u2026 there were people in those scenes you don\u2019t know were there.
