Henry Sandon, museum curator and antiques expert who was best-known for his role on the BBC\u2019s Antiques Roadshow, has died at the age of 95.<\/p>\n

Sandon\u2019s passing was confirmed by his son John, who said that he died peacefully at a care home in Worcestershire on Christmas morning.<\/p>\n

John Sandon said in a statement: \u201cMy dad died peacefully on Christmas morning. Simply old age, as he was 95, and he\u2019s left the world of antiques with an incredible legacy.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the Antiques Roadshow chatting to the owner of the most humble cracked teapot, his enthusiasm and his infectious laugh and smile brought their treasured pot to life. Dad taught me to see the human side of a piece of pottery, and I could have asked for no greater gift.\u201d<\/p>\n
