Following on from its Christmas special<\/a> last month, The Madame Blanc Mysteries is returning to Channel 5, and RadioTimes.com<\/a> has an exclusive first-look clip from episode 1.<\/p>\n In the video, Alex Gaumond\u2019s Inspecteur Caron tells Sally Lindsay\u2019s Jean about a deep-sea diver, Gary, who has been found dead with a Charles 2nd 22-carat gold guinea from 1677 in his bag. She tells him it would be worth at least 2,500 euros.<\/p>\n Introduced to the diver\u2019s colleagues, Jean asks them whether they were diving for treasure \u2013 on the contrary, they were governmental scientists testing the ocean bed, and the discovery of the coin was, apparently, completely accidental.<\/p>\n Whatever the case, it seems there\u2019s something fishy going on here\u2026<\/p>\n You can watch the full first-look clip right here now.<\/p>
