The second spin-off from Law & Order producer Dick Wolf\u2019s FBI franchise, following on from the original FBI series and FBI: Most Wanted<\/a>, FBI: International follows the elite operatives from the FBI\u2019s \u201cfly team\u201d \u2013 Special Agents who neutralise threats against the US from their scenic base in Budapest.<\/p>\n

The team, led by agent Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank), have already spent two tense seasons dealing with worldwide criminal and terrorist threats as well as the bureaucratic red tape that comes with working in foreign countries \u2013 which also means they can\u2019t wave their guns around as much as their US-based counterparts.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, it\u2019s still an exciting watch, but the new series is set to include some major changes to the regular cast. While we know that Christina Wolfe will be joining the season 3 cast<\/a>, it\u2019s now also been confirmed that Heida Reed (who has portrayed Special Agent Jamie Kellett since season 1\u2019s premiere) is set to leave the show in the upcoming series.<\/p>\n

According to Deadline<\/a>, Reed\u2019s departure is a creative decision, and neither CBS nor Wolf Entertainment would comment on the news.<\/p>\n

With the new series set to premiere next month, here\u2019s everything\u00a0you need to know about the upcoming FBI: International season 3.<\/p>

FBI: International season 3 release date speculation: When will it air?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Last year\u2019s now-resolved writers\u2019 and actors\u2019 strikes put production the series (and most TV shows in the US) on hold for months, but FBI: International\u2019s return is confirmed for Tuesday<\/strong> 13th February 2024\u00a0<\/strong>on CBS.<\/p>\n

While we do have a US release date, we\u2019ll just have to wait and see if UK fans can expect the series at the same time as across the pond. But the series will likely become available to watch via Sky and NOW in the UK.<\/p>\n

FBI: International season 3 cast \u2013 Who\u2019s returning?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Although season 2 ended with a big cliffhanger that could spell doom for at least one character (more on that in a moment), we do expect to see most, if not all, of the main cast returning.<\/p>\n

But in what will likely be surprise news for fans, Heida Reed will departing the series in the upcoming season, having played the second-in-command since the show\u2019s inception. Reed is set to leave the new season early on but as for what will be her final episode, details have not yet been released.<\/p>\n

We do know, though, that there\u2019s already a new confirmed character joining the series, with Christina Wolfe joining the new season as a series regular, although details about her new character remain under wraps for now.<\/p>\n
