Fans have been calling for his return for years. <\/p>

It\u2019s something EastEnders<\/a> fans have been calling for ever since Arthur \u2018Fatboy\u2019 Chubb was killed off back in 2015, and that\u2019s to bring him back to the Square. Now, Ricky Norwood has said he would be open to the idea.<\/p>\n

Fan will of course remember when Fatboy was kidnapped by Ronnie Mitchell\u2019s (Samantha Womack) henchmen by mistake and, although it was never shown onscreen, it was confirmed that he had been killed. However, given EastEnders has brought back various characters to life over the years, why not Fatboy?<\/p>\n

Viewers saw Norwood reprise his role in a flashback scene<\/a> last year, which filled in some blanks as to why Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) left husband George Knight (Colin Salmon) \u2013 where she unexpectedly bumped into the much loved character.<\/div>\n

\u201cThe thing with EastEnders is that anything can happen,\u201d Norwood exclusively told RadioTimes.com<\/a> as he prepares to don his skates and take part in Dancing on Ice<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He continued: \u201cI\u2019ve got a lot of love for EastEnders, I\u2019ve got a lot of friends and family that are still there. I call them family because you share a lot there. You really build a strong bond with the people that you work with.\u201d<\/p>\n

As many television fanatics are aware, if a death didn\u2019t happen on TV, the character could very well be alive.<\/p>\n

Norwood explained that a lot of fans \u201ckeep telling\u201d him that Fatboy\u2019s death did happen offscreen and so there could be room to bring him back, adding: \u201cWhether you die onscreen or offscreen, there have been returns.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The actor went on to praise the BBC soap<\/a>, noting that it has been on \u201csuch a high\u201d.<\/p>\n
