The 24th season of Geordie Shore is upon us. <\/p>

It\u2019s 13 years since Geordie Shore first launched on our screens, making huge stars of <\/span>Charlotte Crosby, Gaz Beadle, Vicky Pattison, James Tindale, Holly Hagan, Jay Gardner, Sophie Kasaei and Greg Lake.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since then, there have been over 20 seasons, and plenty of new cast additions as well as losses along the way, not to mention various different filming locations.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2022, the series returned for its 23rd season but, instead of the show\u2019s usual format, the new instalment was a reunion special, bringing together cast members across all series for a party and holiday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The reunion special returned once again earlier in January 2024, serving as Geordie Shore<\/a>\u2019s 24th series and reuniting\u00a0<\/span>a huge cast of 21 for <\/span>Marnie Simpson\u2019s wedding to X Factor UK star Casey Johnson.<\/span><\/p>

One key cast member won\u2019t be back, however. Back in August 2024, Charlotte Crosby revealed that she had quit the show after just two days of filming earlier in the year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking on her Always On podcast, Charlotte said: \u201cIt just ended up going so terribly wrong. I don\u2019t know why but the whole series, I later discovered, was a bit weird. I didn\u2019t expect it to go the way that it did, and for that reason I am sad.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cI\u2019m sad for loads of reasons. I\u2019m sad that I took Alba and Jake, my family, into a show that I loved so much and it went so badly wrong.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
