After 16 years off air, the game show is back with a new group of Gladiators preparing to go head to head with brave members of the public as they take on some gruelling challenges.<\/p>\n
The line-up<\/a> for the series features bodybuilder and online coach Livi Sheldon, who has been training for duel ever since she was nine years old.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s everything you need to know about Livi \u2018Diamond\u2019 Sheldon, who plans to inspire others whilst on the gameshow.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Age:\u00a0<\/strong>29<\/p>\n From:\u00a0<\/strong>Worcestershire<\/p>\n Height:\u00a0<\/strong>6ft<\/p>\n Bicep:\u00a0<\/strong>36cm<\/p>\n Fact:\u00a0<\/strong>Diamond can squat 120kg. That\u2019s like standing up with a jaguar on your back!<\/p>\n Instagram: <\/strong>@livi_sheldon<\/a><\/p>\n Livi Sheldon is an online coach and bodybuilder whose ethos is \u201chelping women glow up and become strong AF\u201d. She previously played football for Worcester City ladies team.<\/p>\n Livi wanted to become a Gladiator because she has always wanted to \u201cinspire others to embrace their uniqueness and encourage people to not hide away\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cI was always the girl who played football with the boys and was seen as a bit of an outcast,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n \u201cI wanted to show younger girls that you can be a badass, but remain feminine and girly at the same time. So, in essence, I wanted to become a Gladiator to inspire, really\u2026 and to kick ass, obviously!\u201d<\/p>\n The expectations of your performance are huge \u2013 with the Gladiators seen as superhumans. Were you confident that you could deliver?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI feel like becoming a Gladiator is something I\u2019ve been training for my whole life. From playing football when I was younger, through to swimming, and then going into bodybuilding.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like all of it has led me to this outcome of being a Gladiator.
