All we know about the new prince! <\/p>
We\u2019ve been excited about Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown ever since it was announced at the The Summer Games fest<\/a> in June last year. Every reboot of the franchise has been a event, from the original 2D platformer to the first Ubisoft trilogy.<\/p>\n The Lost Crown, a new reboot and the first console title since 2010\u2019s The Forgotten Sands, looks to bring the series back to its 2D roots. With a kooky art style (reminiscent of the 2008 stand alone title) and Metroidvania elements, it\u2019s already pleasing critics.<\/p>\n We don\u2019t have long to wait until its release, so what can we expect from Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?<\/p>\n The game will drop on the 18th January, 2024<\/strong>. Not far away at all. In fact, there\u2019s still time to replay the Sands of Time trilogy\u2026 that\u2019s certainly what we\u2019ll be doing.<\/p>\n As for the exact time the game will release (wherever you are in the world), we haven\u2019t been told.<\/p>\n As soon as Ubisoft makes an announcement, we\u2019ll be sure to update this page! Midnight on launch day is always a good guess, though.<\/p>\n As we\u2019re sure many of you are aware, there is an early access available to those who have bought the Deluxe Edition<\/strong>!<\/p>\n Those who own this version will get to play the full game on Monday the 15h December (today!).<\/p> If you don\u2019t fancy parting with your money until you\u2019ve tested the goods, you\u2019ll be glad to hear there\u2019s a free demo<\/strong>! It\u2019s currently available to download on all platforms.<\/p>\n Unfortunately the demo is a standalone feature, so there\u2019ll be no carryover if you proceed to buy the whole game.
