As James Gunn continues to plot out the future for the on-screen DC universe<\/a>, and filming on Superman: Legacy<\/a> looks set to begin in March, there are still question marks over the future of one legacy project from the old DCEU \u2013 Peacemaker<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While that series began life in another era for DC<\/a>, it was created by James Gunn, who is now, along with Peter Safran, in charge of charting a course for the superhero franchise.<\/p>\n

Now, one of the show\u2019s stars Danielle Brooks has confirmed that a second season is very much \u201chappening\u201d and that it will \u201chopefully\u201d start filming in 2024.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Deadline<\/a> while attending the Critics Choice Awards<\/a>, Brooks said: \u201cIt\u2019s happening. That\u2019s all I know. It\u2019s happening. When? Not quite sure. I think this year, hopefully, we\u2019ll get started.\u201d<\/p>\n
