Half a million pounds worth of treasure, anyone? <\/p>

New drama Finders Keepers<\/a> is landing on Channel 5 and RadioTimes.com<\/a> has a sneak peek at the series ahead of it airing tomorrow (Wednesday 17th January).<\/p>\n

The new series has already been tipped to be \u201ca bit like Breaking Bad\u201d by series lead James Buckley who stars as Ashley, the future son-in-law of Martin (Neil Morrissey), a keen history enthusiast and detectorist who unearths a hoard of Saxon treasure.<\/p>\n

In the exclusive teaser of the series, we see the pair deciding what to do with their newly discovered treasure and it\u2019s clear that Ashley has money on his mind but Martin is, perhaps, concealing something from him.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt cleans up nice, don\u2019t it?\u201d Ashley says while snapping pictures of the laid-out treasure on a table. But as Ashley gets chatting about the \u201cboring old gold\u201d and looking at his phone, it\u2019s clear that Martin is thinking of something while inspecting some of the items.<\/p>\n

\u201cRocky reckons he\u2019ll be able to sell it for us privately, what do you think?\u201d Ashley asks his future father-in-law, but Martin admits plainly that he thinks \u201cit\u2019s ridiculous and illegal, obviously\u201d.<\/p>\n

But when it boils down to who found it, Ashley takes joint credit whereas Martin claims he did, saying: \u201cYou were just there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Specificities of their role in the treasure aside, Ashley looks back at the table and says: \u201cHalf a million, though, imagine that.\u201d But will they be seeing the money any time soon or will Martin reveal more about what\u2019s on the table?<\/p>\n
