While Netflix is yet to confirm when Wednesday season 2<\/a> will arrive, fans can get excited for some further horror-filled episodes, according to series lead Jenna Ortega.<\/p>\n Speaking on the red carpet at the 75th Emmy Awards<\/a>, Ortega told E! (via Deadline<\/a>) that the new season will embrace the horror genre more than before, making the series feel more like a movie in the process.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve received some scripts now for the second season, and we\u2019re definitely leaning into a little bit more horror,\u201d Ortega told Laverne Cox in an interview for E!.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s really, really exciting because, all throughout the show, while Wednesday does need a little bit of an arc, she never really changes \u2013 and that\u2019s the wonderful thing about her.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s really, really good one-liners, and I think everything\u2019s bigger, it\u2019s a lot more action-packed.
