Fans of Doctor Who<\/a> have spoken and, according to a poll done by Doctor Who Magazine<\/a>, the best episode of the long-running sci-fi series was revealed to be Heaven Sent.<\/p>\n The episode, which was first aired in 2015, features Peter Capaldi<\/a>\u2018s Twelfth Doctor who is imprisoned in an eerie castle by the Time Lords and is followed by a mysterious cloaked figure.<\/p>\n But things get haunting when the cycle continues, with the Doctor spending four-and-a-half billion years in a loop dying and coming back to life to try and figure out how to escape.<\/p>\n Well, now Capaldi himself has revealed his thoughts about Heaven Sent being crowned the best episode of Doctor Who.<\/p> Speaking on the Where There\u2019s A Will, There\u2019s A Wake podcast<\/a>, the actor revealed to host and actress Kathy Burke: \u201cThat was lovely, it was an episode that was written by the wonderful Steven Moffat who looked after the show when I was in it.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was very unusual.
