The upcoming series is described by Channel 4 as a “love story for the ages” that is “honest, intimate and surprisingly funny”. <\/p>
Earlier this month, we listed Alice & Jack as one of our most anticipated shows of 2024<\/a> \u2013 and now RadioTimes.com<\/a> can exclusively reveal the first trailer for the romantic drama.<\/p>\n The upcoming Channel 4 series stars Domhnall Gleeson and Andrea Riseborough as the titular characters, a couple who have a complicated relationship over a number of years.<\/p>\n The trailer begins with Riseborough\u2019s character, Alice, saying: \u201cRemember that first night we met, do you remember what I asked you? \u2018Have you ever done this before?’\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n We then cut back to \u2013 presumably \u2013 the night in question, with Gleeson\u2019s Jack putting his shoes on after what appears to have been a one-night stand.<\/p>\n Jack then tells Alice that he\u2019ll call her, to which she responds, \u201cIf it\u2019s OK with you, I\u2019d rather you didn\u2019t.\u201d But this appears not to dissuade Jack, who informs her that he\u2019ll text her instead.<\/p>\n We then see several clips of Jack and Alice interacting with various other characters \u2013 including ones played by Aisling Bea and Aimee Lou Wood \u2013 with Jack at one point heard saying: \u201cI\u2019ve been in love with someone for 15 years. We\u2019ve never managed to stay in a romantic relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n Later, Alice says: \u201cIf I would be with anyone in the world, it would be with you.\u201d<\/p>\n You can watch the trailer in full below:<\/p>\n\n
