It\u2019s one of the most critically acclaimed films of the last year but All of Us Strangers is finally out now in the UK.<\/p>\n
Directed by Andrew Haigh (Weekend, Lookin<\/a>g, 45 Years), All of Us Strangers follows lonely screenwriter Adam (Andrew Scott<\/a>) as he attempts to grapple with his past while living a lonely existence in an apartment in gentrified London.<\/p>\n However, Adam\u2019s routine is punctuated by the arrival in his life of neighbour Harry (Paul Mescal<\/a>), prompting him to reassess much of what has happened to him.<\/p>\n Amidst this, Adam journeys back to his childhood home and visits his parents, portrayed by Jamie Bell<\/a> and Claire Foy<\/a>, who died when he was twelve years old.<\/p>\n Speaking about the film to RadioTimes.com<\/a> last year, director Andrew Haigh said<\/a>: \u201cI would say it\u2019s closer to my normal wheelhouse rather than being separate from it. So even though it is there is definitely\u2026I don\u2019t want to use the word supernatural, but there is an element of it, that is outside of naturalism, let\u2019s say yeah, I will say that it feels very much in tune with other things that I\u2019ve done.
