Things could have ended up very differently! <\/p>

When the first four Traitors were chosen all those weeks ago on the BBC reality show, no one could have imagine the waves it would make.<\/p>\n

Over the last month, viewers have sat down to watch back-stabbing like no other, high levels of deception and, of course, the winner of \u00a395,150 \u2013 which led to The Traitors season 2 breaking records<\/a>, with viewing figures doubling the totals for season 1 before the final three episodes even aired.<\/p>\n

As fans saw it play out on screen, Harry was named the winner of The Traitors\u2019 second instalment, after deceiving his fellow contestants to the very end \u2013 leaving the final Faithful standing, Mollie, shocked and confused by the betrayal.<\/p>\n

But this almost didn\u2019t happen.<\/p>\n

Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> at the Radio Times<\/strong> Covers Party 2024, Harry revealed he almost turned down the show.<\/p>

The winner revealed that he had been scouted for the series and received a message on Instagram, which he was initially sceptical of.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, luckily, I got a message on Instagram that said, \u2018Do you want to check this out?\u2019 from a caster and I was like, \u2018No way, I\u2019m not giving you my bank details, I don\u2019t want an iPhone 13, I don\u2019t want a scam,’\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

Harry continued: \u201cAnd then luckily, she said, \u2018No, check it out.\u2019 And I watched the first few episodes, gave her a ring, and I was like, \u2018I love this.\u2019 Series 1 was amazing. I was like, \u2018Well, I need to be a Traitor.\u2019 And she was like, \u2018You haven\u2019t even applied yet.’\u201d<\/p>\n

It was from this moment that Harry decided to apply for the show, with the possible cash prize of \u00a3120,000 also at the forefront of his mind. \u201cWho\u2019s gonna say no to that?\u201d<\/p>\n

He explained that when the opportunity arose, he took it with \u201cboth hands\u201d \u2013 and as they say, the rest is history.<\/p>\n
