Fast approaching its 20-year anniversary, World of Warcraft Classic is still receiving oodles of content \u2013 with the next being Season of Discover Phase 2, which is on the way.<\/p>\n

And we\u2019ve got everything you need to know about the upcoming WoW SoD Phase 2, including its release date and what to expect.<\/p>\n

This follows on from Season of Discovery Phase 1<\/a>, which you can still delve into as we wait for SoD Phase 2.<\/p>\n

This follows on from the unfortunate news of mass lay-offs at Activision-Blizzard-King, with Aftermath<\/a> reporting: \u201c\u2018Almost all\u2019 game masters \u2013 employees who oversee and moderate World of Warcraft servers \u2013 [are] being let go.\u201d<\/p>\n

What shape World of Warcraft will be in in the coming years remains to be seen \u2013 but for now, the game is still scheduled to receive plenty of content, though this will have been in the works for quite some time.<\/p>\n

With that said, read on to see what to expect from Season of Discovery Phase 2 and when.<\/p>\n

When is the SoD Phase 2 release date & UK launch time?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The World of Warcraft Season of Discover Phase 2 release date in the UK is 9pm GMT on Thursday 8th February 2024<\/b>.<\/p>\n

You should be able to squeeze in a few hours of SoD Phase 2 before your bedtime, then!<\/p>\n

But seeing as it releases on Thursday, you can hopefully play to your heart\u2019s content and be able to pull through work or school on Friday, seeing as it will be the weekend after \u2013 where you can catch up on sleep (or more World of Warcraft).<\/p>\n
