It\u2019s the news that Inside No. 9<\/a> fans have been both patiently waiting for and equally dreading: It\u2019s almost time to bid farewell to the comedy series at long last \u2013 as it looks as though the much-anticipated season 9 has now finished filming.<\/p>\n

The update was announced on X (formerly known as Twitter)<\/a>, where series creators Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith<\/a> shared snaps of the final clapperboard.<\/p>\n

With \u201cthat\u2019s a wrap\u201d written on it, the board marked that filming on the ninth and final season has now been completed.<\/p>\n

Written by, created by and starring both actors, it\u2019s certainly a bittersweet time for Pemberton and Shearsmith, as well as their fans.<\/p>\n

Pemberton wrote on X: \u201cTime to say goodbye to <\/span>#InsideNo9<\/span> having just wrapped series 9. This takes us to 55 episodes, a very decent innings. Mixed emotions but can\u2019t wait to share what we\u2019ve made.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
