It looks like things continue to be rocky between the married couple. <\/p>

It\u2019s been quite the start to Call the Midwife<\/a> season 13, with important storylines, medical scares for some beloved characters and some drama between newlywed couple Matthew (Olly Rix) and Trixie (Helen George)<\/a> creating plenty of drama.<\/p>\n

After the wedding at the end of season 12, things haven\u2019t been plain-sailing for the pair \u2013 with the couple bickering about Trixie\u2019s driving and having quite a few confrontations as of late.<\/p>\n

Well, it looks as though things are set to get even more tense for the duo, as we can reveal in an exclusive clip for RadioTimes.com<\/a> from the upcoming episode.<\/p>\n

In the video, we see Trixie is excited after passing her driving exam and, parking the car, asks Matthew about going to a showroom as soon as possible to go car shopping.<\/p>

\u201cIt might be a good idea to build your confidence before we rush to buy another car,\u201d he responds.<\/p>\n

But just as Trixie is trying to persuade her husband, Violet knocks on the car window. She\u2019s been looking for Matthew and asks whether he\u2019s heard about her excursion, which is \u201cthe talk of Poplar\u201d, according to Trixie.<\/p>\n

Talking about how things are \u201cgoing swimmingly\u201d, Violet then admits that there\u2019s been a \u201cshortfall with funds\u201d, saying that they\u2019re now \u201creliant on the philanthropy of generous souls such as yourself\u201d, looking towards Matthew.<\/p>\n

Just as he\u2019s about to protest, Trixie states that he\u2019d be delighted to help, hands him the keys and steps out of the car, leaving a forlorn-looking Matthew in the vehicle. What exactly could be troubling him?<\/p>\n
