The BBC has announced that Steve Coogan will be returning as Alan Partridge for a brand new six-part series.<\/p>\n
And Did Those Feet\u2026 with Alan Partridge will follow the long-running comedy character as he reintegrates into life in Britain following a year living in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n
A release provided by the BBC teases: \u201cWhat begins as a documentary about homecoming soon morphs into something more personal, as Alan realises that the happiness he thought he\u2019d feel at being back in Norwich just hasn\u2019t materialised. Something\u2019s missing.\u201d<\/p>\n
The series will follow Alan as he \u201csets off on a quest to understand his funk\u201d, exploring various issues that \u201cplay a part in keeping us funk-free\u201d \u2013 including home life, work life, relationships and the importance of nature.<\/p>

The synopsis continues: \u201cAnd if he ends up being seen as a mental health champion for the middle-aged, who\u2019s also a good fit to present other issues-led documentary strands, so be it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Speaking about his return to the screen, Partridge himself said: \u201cThe kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoys extensive oil and natural gas reserves, but has also seen economic growth in other areas such as agricultural production, retail trade, construction and transport.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt directs some $69 billion to military expenditure each year. And yet despite all that, I somehow felt incomplete.\u201d<\/p>\n
