“Diane might not be celebrating a birthday today… but Michael is.” <\/p>
Michael Sheen celebrates his 55th birthday today \u2013 and the Good Omens<\/a> actor received a special video message from The Traitors<\/a> star Diane Carson to mark the occasion.<\/p>\n The video was posted on Instagram<\/a> by Sheen\u2019s partner and Staged co-star Anna Lundberg, who wrote that she had \u201cpeaked in birthday presents\u201d by organising the message.<\/p>\n In the clip, Diane introduces herself before saying, \u201cDiane might not be celebrating a birthday today\u2026 but Michael is,\u201d referencing the now-iconic delivery of her revelation that Traitors castmate Ross was her son.<\/p>\n She continues: \u201cI do know, Michael, that you\u2019re going to be rehearsing at The National today during your birthday.<\/p> \u201cComing from a family of actors, I know how often work interfered with various family occasions that we had organised, but there\u2019s always time to celebrate afterwards.\u201d<\/p>\n She then goes on to reference another famous moment from her time on the hugely popular reality show, telling him: \u201cWhen you are celebrating, just make sure that you drink plenty of fizzy ros\u00e9 \u2013 just don\u2019t let Miles serve it to you!\u201d<\/p>\n Diane then signs off: \u201cCheers, and enjoy your birthday.\u201d<\/p>\n Judging from Lundberg\u2019s post, it looks like Sheen greatly enjoyed the video, with her caption mentioning that \u201che absolutely lost it\u201d.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Meanwhile, Georgia Tennant also shared a birthday message for Sheen on Instagram<\/a>, which includes one photo of her holding a small model of the actor and another that shows her, David Tennant, Sheen and Lundberg on a night out.<\/p>\n \u201cHappy Birthday to the boyfriend of both my wife and my husband.\u201d<\/p>\n Sheen is currently rehearsing for the upcoming run of Tim Price\u2019s play Nye at The National Theatre \u2013 in which he will play the title role of Welsh Labour Party politician Aneurin \u2018Nye\u2019 Bevan, who was hugely influential in creating the NHS.<\/p>\n He is also set to star as Prince Andrew in the Prime Video<\/a> drama A Very Royal Scandal<\/a> about the infamous 2019 Newsnight interview, while he directed and co-created the upcoming BBC One series The Way.<\/p>\n [squirrel-affiliate-playlist squirrel_playlist_id=\u201d609\u2033 \/]<\/p>\n If you\u2019re looking for something to watch, check out our TV Guide<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Streaming Guide<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Try Radio Times magazine today and get 10 issues for only \u00a310 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>subscribe now<\/strong><\/a>.
