Well, it seems as though former villain Mads Mikkelsen is wading into the Bond-related furore, and wants Daniel Craig to remain as the spy \u2013 for one more film at least.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Business Insider<\/a>, Mikkelsen was asked who he would like to see take on the James Bond character next, to which he replied: \u201cTo be honest, I\u2019d like to see Daniel do one more, one last one.\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cYeah. I\u2019d like to see him wrap it up in a different way.\u201d<\/p>\n But when pushed as to whether or not he thought Craig\u2019s Bond died in the last film, Mikkelsen said: \u201cWell, that\u2019s the big question, isn\u2019t it? I mean, it\u2019s Bond, so I think he can get out of any situation.\u201d<\/p>\n In the same interview, he also revealed that Craig is his favourite Bond \u2013 but in close second is Sean Connery, who starred in seven Bond films between 1962 and 1983.<\/p>\n The actor is no stranger to playing the villain in many different roles, and starred in Casino Royale as main antagonist Le Chiffre, a fictional banker who finances the world\u2019s terrorist organisations.<\/p> Whether or not Craig will return to the well-known film franchise remains to be seen, but casting for the role is an area of Hollywood that doesn\u2019t look like it\u2019ll be clarified anytime soon.<\/p>\n Of course, Craig met his end in\u00a02021\u2019s No Time to Die<\/a>, which marked his final appearance as 007 after five movies.<\/p>\n Read more:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n More recently, Rebel Moon filmmaker Zack Snyder<\/a> revealed his own hopes for helming a Bond-related project, but one focused on Bond\u2019s younger years.<\/p>\n [squirrel-affiliate-playlist squirrel_playlist_id=\u201d609\u2033 \/]<\/p>\n In an interview for\u00a0The Atlantic<\/a>, Snyder said: \u201cIt\u2019d be cool to see, like, 20-year-old James Bond.
